Mayflour Bakery is an absolute gem in Essex, MA! The food is beyond delicious, with every bite tasting fresh and lovingly made. The owner and staff are so welcoming—they make you feel right at home as soon as you walk through the door. The space itself is beautifully designed, like stepping into a soft, cozy cloud that smells warm and mouth-wateringly delicious. The building’s charm and thoughtful design add such a special touch, making it an experience that’s more than just a bakery stop. Can’t recommend it enough!

A true local gem. Years ago I had the honor of getting a Mayflour cake for my wedding celebration, it was loved by everyone. The new shop in Essex is so beautiful. Everything is worth indulging in. The highest quality ingredients are sourced and everything is SO delicious. My kids love the hot cocoa and homemade marshmallows in the winter and the spritzers in the summer. I love the coffee or chai.

I absolutely love the baked good from Mayflour - I've walked in and purchased daily items from the case and have preordered items for holiday festivities. We had the most amazing carrot cake ever on Easter. I also love the small bite size scones - I order them and throw them in the freezer and pop them out throughout the week. I highly recommend the food here. The coffee is excellent too! The food is wholesome and yummy.

Enchanting coffee spot. Almost feels like a secret garden. Lovely baked goods and expertly brewed coffee. Perfect in it's simplicity and minimalist disposition.

Mayflour is the cutest cafe! The baked goods and coffee are always delicious, and there’s such a wide variety offered of high-quality items. The cakes are some of the best I’ve ever tasted, and the designs are absolutely beautiful. If I lived closer, I’d be there all of the time. I love the commitment to sustainability and minimizing waste, and you can tell how much thought and care goes into every decision and every item sold. A unique gem worth visiting and supporting!

Came to share an updated menu. Pistachio matcha. It was a little heavy on matcha, but the earthiness works for me. The bakery items looked delicious, we will be back to try them.

Fantastic bakery! They made me an incredible cake for my wedding in 2019 and my recent visit to their new location was absolutely wonderful. Can’t wait to visit again soon!

Stumbled upon this place after going to a shop next door. It was toward the end of the night so they were limited on treats but we still got a cookie and a hot drink. I love the minimal clean look and had no idea they were herb farmer just happed to over hear a conversation. I can’t wait to go back to try more of the treats and soft serve that changes regularly.

Beautiful location and everything was absolutely delicious. We got one of every baked good besides the cookies and each one was incredible. Particularly enjoyed the peach scones and the brownie/blondie bites!

Such a special place. The atmosphere they've cultivated is as sweet as the beautiful treats they serve. Top-tier, melt in your mouth baked goods. Perfectly balanced flavors. The coziest place for community. We need more places like Mayflour💗
